This chapter was something else. We are just put far deeper into the psyche of Goodwin. All of the monologues were just great in this. The cut to Punisher being the last one standing over everyone dead was so tough, I loved the art work in this chapter.

More dialogue in this chapter, but it’s actually great writing. Garth Ennis can write. I loved that opening monologue. Also Frank is just killing anybody he wants, thinking this war will end so he won’t be able to punish people anymore. Just love that way of thinking he has.

“If you think paybacks bad, you haven’t met Frank Castle”

Punisher you absolute king, killing a guy raping the enemy. Then having him say “No rape, we’re here to kill the enemy.” this is some elite writing. A great anti-war comic book.

Jeez, Rorshach has probably one of the most tragic backstories i’ve ever read. Going into it I was like “I like the mystery behind his character” but then after reading it I was more like “fucking hell” just speechless of the incredible art and what goes through Rorshachs head and his views on the world ,it’s just amazing.

holy shit why was Rorshach aura farming in those last few pages of that chapter

Dr Manhattan getting questioned is crazy , especially for what makes this even better.

Okay so like Hollis Masons autobiography got so much more interesting. This world is so fucked up, this definitely takes the cake for being the most realistic take on superheroes.

Oh my goodness, what a great opening to this comic book. In a world like ours , overrun by politics, just very few heroes left and the doomsday clock on the brink of hitting zero. Watchmen has one the world building i’ve seen so far.
