Abi D is starting I’m Glad My Mom Died
This was one of the most interesting non-fiction books I have ever read. Jennete was someone I watched on TV a lot growing up. Seeing the other side of her story was very eye-opening. Watching her on TV, you never would have guessed all of the battles she was fighting behind the camera. It was a very interesting look into her life and I very much enjoyed it.

This was a great series that kept me entertained for months. Cherish was a good ending that tied up all of the loose ends and left no cliff hangers. I felt like, after so many long books, I would eventually get burnt out. However, my reading may have slowed, but I was still invested through the end. It was a great series, but I am ready to move on to the next.

I'm still enjoying the final book in this series. I feel like the storyline is helpful, but I also feel like it's being dragged out just a little. I feel like at this point it is just adventure after adventure. At some point, I'm just waiting for them to settle down, go to college, and live a normal life. Instead, they are still out there risking their lives all of the time.

At first, I thought that Cherish was an unnecessary last book. However, I have learned since I started reading it that there were a lot of loose threads that this book will hopefully wrap up. So far, I haven't felt like it is being dragged out. I think this is a good end to the series that I am excited to finish up.

Abi D is starting Charm (Crave, #5)
Charm was a very good filler book. In the earlier books, we learned that Grace couldn't remember the period she was frozen. Charm tells all that happened during that time period. It was nice to finally see the inside of what happened between her and Hudson while she was frozen.

Crush has been a very good second book to this series. The first book didn't grab my attention as well because it was more introductory. Now, every page seems to hold a twist or turn, and I am fully hooked. I can't wait to find out what else happens and move on to the rest of the books in this series.

Crave was a pretty good book. It definitely had a few unexpected moments. I did feel that it was fairly corny and pretty predictable, but that's to be expected in a vampire series. I'm hoping the second book will get me a bit more interested. However, all of that said, the first book was good enough that I will read the second.

Abi D is starting Heiress Takes All
Heiress Takes All was one of the most page-turning books I have read in a while. I felt like I couldn't put it down and was reading every chance I got. I thought the character development was excellent across the board. There were plot twists and many moments that had me either laughing or feeling speechless. It was a great book, and I'm so excited for the next one.

Abi D is starting Stay Dead
Stay Dead was definitely a good book, but it was not my favorite. It had some twists and turns for sure. However, I didn't feel completely engulfed in it like some books. I did not expect Brent to turn out to be the bad guy at all. It definitely kept me interested, but I felt able to put it down after a few pages.

The Housemaid Is Watching was a very good end to this series. I do think that every book ending with Millie and her family getting away with murder is a little out there. Overall, though, it was a great series that kept me interested all the way through. At some points, I felt like I had to read instead of wanting to, but in the end, I read all of them just the same.

The third book in this series has not been a disappointment at all. It is aggravating because it seems like Millie has no trust in Enzo, and Enzo is one of my favorite characters. I also believe Enzo has always been one of the most reliable, so even with all of his suspicious actions, I wish Millie would trust him more. The truth is finally starting to come out, however, so I'm excited to figure out the truth.

Abi D is finished with The Housemaid's Secret (The Housemaid, #2)
I am just about to the end of the book, and there have been so many twists and turns. It is set up to imply that Millie goes after Wendy after she is tricked. However, we come to learn that Marybeth plans and executes the murder of her husband, Russell, and Wendy. Not only that, but Marybeth also exposes Wendy for murdering Douglas, and makes her and Russell's deaths out to be a murder-suicide situation.

In the part of the story I am now on, we are starting to hear Wendy's side of the story. We also find out right before Wendy's section that the Douglas Garrick Millie shot is not the real Douglas Garrick. Wendy feels that her actions and her feelings towards Douglas are justified, but they absolutely are not. She never loved him and only married him for his money, and then got mad when his money was no longer enough.

The Housemaid's Secret is starting to grow on me as I get further into the book. Enzo has just made his reappearance, and I'm glad there is now another tie between the first book and this one. I feel more of a connection with the two books that I was missing before, since they are in the same series. I am getting more invested with each page and am excited to read more.

The Housemaid’s Secret is so far an okay continuation. I haven’t made it super far in but at this point the only correlation is Millie and stories of Enzo. There aren’t many moments that are carried over from the first book which I really liked so I am not enjoying that so far. However, I am hoping as I get deeper into the story there is more details brought back from the first book.

The Housemaid kept me on my toes until the end. Just as you think Millie is on her way up and Nina is finally out of the picture, you realize that is not a good thing. Nina had a master plan the whole time, and Millie just happened to be the perfect piece in her game. It works out in the end, though, when Andrew's past of treating women poorly lets Nina off the hook.

The Housemaid so far has taken many twists and turns I didn't suspect. Just when I thought Nina was evil and things were finally coming together. There was a plot twist after plot twist. Nina is good, Andrew is bad, Nina and Enzo are in love, and I feel like I can't put it down.

The Housemaid, so far, has been an interesting book. Millie has moved into the Winchester home for a new job as a housemaid. It is the only job she can get since she has spent the last 10 years in prison. It seems like an amazing, life-changing job, but it has some weird aspects. The biggest one is Nina, the lady who hired her, who has severe mood swings.

The Inmate is a very intriguing book. It has many twists and turns that I didn't see coming. Just when I got one opinion about the characters and the plot, something else happened. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time, and I was always eager to read more.

Abi D is starting A Rip in Heaven
A Rip in Heaven was an interesting book with many details. It shows many different sides and angles of a crime. However, the situation and circumstances of this crime are evil and disgusting. Having to read about the trauma these families went through and the cousin who was also a victim being treated as a suspect was aggravating. Overall all it was a very good book; the emotions felt showed the great detail.

Abi D is starting The Island
The Island was a very interesting and attention-grabbing book. I enjoy Natasha Preston's books because they are always page turners that have many plot twists and keep me on the edge of my seat. You never know what will happen next, and the suspects are always surprising. Natasha does normally end her books on a cliffhanger, which is aggravating but attention-grabbing nonetheless.
