So far I'm not loving this read and I'm a little sad because I was looking forward to it. Batman is kind of a jerk saying stuff like "I can handle this!"(Miller 48). To Robin, Honestly I'm just excited to finish this book.

So far I have not been loving this book because I don't love this darker take on Batman. One defining feature of this run is that batman doesn't have a no kill rule so he is catching bodies. Another notable thing about this run is that its one of the first instances of Batman saying "I'm Batman"(Miller 12). The next thing I think will happen is that Batman might get a robin which I think would make the story better.

So far I am loving this book. We are introduced to Lex Luthor who is the big bad of this book. Lex says "Think about it, without Superman to distract her, you just never know"(Morrison 63). He says this when speaking to Clark about Lois, showing that he has literally no clue how close his enemy really is even though he is the smartest man in the world. next I think Lex will break out of prison.

"I still have a few things left to do" (Morrison 12). These are the words Superman says when he finds out that he only has one more year left to live. So far this story has been pretty good but it has one thing that sets it apart from all other superhero comics, Hope. The next thing I think will happen is that Lois lane will freak out that Clark is Superman.

Cat Woman has just been introduced and I gotta say, I don't like her design. Not sure why maybe its because she's purple, or maybe I'm just a hater but I don't like it. Batman still has not caught the Holiday killer, I have ideas. I know that Batman and Cat Woman have a thing, but in this story Selina almost feels mischaracterized with her being less confident with her stuttering "Hel-lo its me. Selina" (Sale 86).

Batman has a new mystery to solve in his latest adventure. Who is the Holiday killer? So far I am loving this story and it almost has a bit of a mystery/horror aspect to it which is nice to see in a batman story. I think that maybe one of the falcons (a crime family in Gotham) will be killed next. The villain of this book is menacing with him saying "Disappointing" (Sale 3). and then murdering someone right after.

I'm surprised that the justice league are still enslaved. Orion showed up and he seems to be the leader of the planet but Wonder Woman put him in his place saying "You are no fool, Orion. When your head is cool, You are, Like me, A Tactician" (Wade 42). I think that the Justice league will find a way to escape the planet.

I do like how Wonder Woman (who is often drawn crudely, because men are normally the one drawing her) is given a skirt in this version because it is a much more modest which I as a female fan love to see. I think the next thing that will happen is that the league will figure out how too fix the provability issue and the Justice League will come back together and all will be restored.
