After getting a divorce with Ben, Claudia deals with lots of other difficult situations. Her best friend Jess has many miscarriages and on top of that, her sister is asking Claudia to donate her eggs so she can have a baby. Claudia expresses her miss for ben when she says “I miss him in so many ways, but right now I miss him in the way you always miss someone when you're single among a room full of couples” (Giffin)

"Things certainly aren't the way you imagine when you're a kid and dreaming big dreams about what your life as a grown-up will look like" (Giffin 114)." This quote shows the main character, Claudia, who is faced with difficulties in her relationship after finding out her husband wants kids when she is against it. I love this book and I predict that Claudia will end up having a kid because she wants to stay with Ben.

When the friends are in Italy Hannah thinks to herself, "As we make our way down to the harbor, I feel at peace in the company of my two best friends, surrounded by such incredible natural beauty" (Giffin 17). I am very happy that the group decided to go on these adventures. I have mixed opinions on how Hannah and Tyson's relationship is forming. Lastly, I predict that Hannah and Tyson will fall in love.

"I often wonder what makes our coming-of-age friendships so powerful...I think it's a simple matter of who was there by our side, bearing witness to our loss of innocence" (Giffin 3). So far I like my book, I love seeing how the friends try to deal with the news of what Grady did to Hannah. I want to know more about Summer and why she committed suicide. I predict that Hannah will find someone way better than Grady.

I am halfway through the book and I enjoy seeing how Darcy tries to put her life together. I don't like how Claire treats Darcy as a friend. Also, I was very surprised when Dex was so closed off with her. On page 142 it says, "Then he stood and walked out of his old apartment, leaving me for good." Later on in the story I predict that Darcy will start to like Ethan again and try to lure him into liking her.

On page 70 Darcy says "I threw her the bone she so craved. 'You're my best friend now'". This conversation with Claire shows how Darcy is still really self-centered and thinks that everything is about her. I like how the accuracy of the characters stayed the same because Darcy is still so caught up in herself. I think that later on Darcy will decide she doesn't want to marry Marcus and will try to get back with Dex.

"He only said to be careful... I will be careful the next time I see Dexter" (Giffin 100). Rachl isn't going to stop this affair while her love for Dex still liners, Darcy has no clue. I predict that Darcy will start getting hints about Dex and Rachl's relationship. I am starting to get annoyed with Darcy and how she acts. I don't like how she thinks she can treat people poorly and how Rachl lets it slide.

I really like this book so far. I love seeing Rachl, a chill girl who just turned thirty, develope and talk about her relationship with boys. Darcy is her best friend who is dating Dex. This whole situation with Rachl and Dex is very sticky. Rachl trys to avoid the fact that she has feelins for him. "I have to lie. Because what I am thinking is, Maybe you are my type a little bit more than I once thought" (page 49).
