A re-read. One of my go-to's. Any easy crime mystery.

My book outline for a future prospective historical-fiction is mostly complete (ready for a manuscript rough-draft to be written). I'm shifting and finalizing the manuscript (proofing and final edits) for AVANT, Book 2 in the MÉDAILLON Trilogy for publishing early next year. Please, wish me luck.

I'm working different parts of my brain, but reading books of varying styles. Also, I believe that reading in a non-native tongue, expands the canvas so the words have places to land.

I've read this book 3 times, but this time, I'm focusing on the narrative voice of Mr. Lockwood and Nelly Dean. The reading is more fluid when I try to focus on their combined perspectives. I've also found that Heathcliff and Cathy are not likeable characters-two narcissists, but attracted to one another on a base level.
