In the first chapter i read it describes Elizabeth's life in London before she meets Flush (the dog). She's seen as a women living tedious and boring life, limited to her room due to illness, finding relief mostly in her writing and her relationship's with her siblings. Then Flush enters her life and creates joy and freedom to Elizabeth's constrained life.

I'm enjoying this book so far and excited to read more.

Raspberry and her friend Ja'nae have just finished cleaning their first house and made 50 dollars each, Ja'nae is supposed to give Raspberry all the money she makes from cleaning the houses because Raspberry let Ja'nae borrow 200 bucks. But after they finished cleaning, Ja'nae says if she cant give raspberry the 50 bucks because she needs it for something. This didn't make Raspberry very happy.

After reading a couple of chapters, I'm really enjoying this book. Raspberry who is the main character loves to hustle, when she was younger her parents would always argue about money and her and her mom were staying at close friend's houses, and even the streets. That is why Raspberry is so serious about money because she never wants to be poor and live on the streets every again.

Danny is isolating himself from his family after what happen with Unos brother, Danny didn't talk much before but now he doesn't talk at all. He stays in his room under the blankets. His cousin Sofie trys to talk to him to go eat but he stays quiet pretending to go to sleep. She tells him the food will be waiting for him when he gets up.

Danny the main character just got to his city where all his family lives, he's hanging out with his cousin Sofie who's showing him around. While Danny is playing baseball trying to get to know everyone a little more he accidentally let go of his bat while swinging and hit the pitchers brother. The pitcher Uno gets upset and starts pressing Danny, Sofie trys to back Uno of but Uno is pretty upset.
