This is a really good book. I feel like its pretty difficult to find good books on surfing, but this one is REALLY good. It tells a great story of professional surfing, Hawaiian culture, and several unique real life characters, all set against a nostolgic backdrop of the sixties and seventies. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys surfing, or wants to learn more about it.

I just got to the part where the martians got in their metal vehicles and started to attack the town. So far Ive found it pretty engaging and im happy that its in the library options. I would compare it to 2001 a space Odyssey which I also have read a little while ago
