I chose this book because I have read all the other books in this series. Yes, because I like sports books and learning about their track progress and how they can improve on the track.

This moment that stood out to me was when Nasir took Bunny's phone and gave it to Wallace, because it was a big moment in the book, because Wallace took something that he could use against Bunny to take him off the basketball team. This means he won a bet and got a lot of money.

At first, I thought the monster was mean and trying to destroy the kid's life, but now I realized that the monster is kind and trying to help the kid out.

"Right now, in my book, A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness. I'm starting to think that the nightmares that the kid is having are not really nightmares, and these conversations with the monster are real conversations that are happening, because when he wakes up, things from the tree are in his bedroom. This makes me wonder if he will ever be with the monster while he is awake.

One character that I can relate with is the main character Patina, because she plays a sport and I play a sport to. while it is not the same sport we still both play a sport. Patina does track and I play golf. She also has a younger sibling and so do I.

When Patina walks into the hospital, Jason Reynolds writes" I was looking down at the floor, the light shining off of it"(150). The author primarily uses the sensory imagery of sight. The author choose this sense because it is showing what she see's when she walks into the hospital.

The main character in my book is Patina, she is on a track team and she lost her first ever race. Also story takes place on a track and patinas house and i don't really know. The track team is trying to get better with there skills and patina own skills.

I'm stuck on a page where she is talking about her self and the way i got unstuck is just reread it and make it make sense to me.

I was stuck because was tried which caused me to be lose focus. what I did to get back on focus was look at the light for a second because that wakes me up.
