Right now, in my book, the people in my book are getting blackmailed, and all four of them have a secret that they can get in really trouble with, and I am starting to think that they are getting close to figuring out who the blackmailer is because they are starting to get good evidence that can support who they say it is.

Harvey said,"It had more lightning at its dark heart. It had the light rains that came early mourning to coaxxforuth the seeds of another spring;it had dropping fogs of aoutum and the spirling snows that brought so many midnight christmas to the house"(230) The author primary uses sight bec it creates a bigger picture like you are noticing and seeing the changes yourself and it brings more enjoyment into the reading.

I learned that my main character harvey wants to make something right even tho he is not benefiting from it. He tried to save another kid that is trapped in the Hoods house even tho the kid donst really like him. He also is worried abt a old lady that was in the house way before him and he is trying to get her out of the house even tho no one would probable remember her bec each day spent in the house a year goes by

Harvey is trapped in a house that makes everything look perfect but he cant leave but in the the house he discovers that there were kids at that house before him but there was no trace of them except the left over clothes from them. Harveys main goal is to get back to his family but the constant changing in holidays, seasons, fun, and scenarios stop him from wanting to leave.

I got stuck on pg.28 when the author was talking about who built the holiday house because there where multiple people talking about the person who built the house and it was kinda confusing so to fix this problem I reread the sentence slowly so I could better understand what they were saying.
