Really enjoying it! Great characters and longing. Priest's writing is fun but the translator tried their best. Not bad but noticeable. Enjoying it bigtime though, despite my dislike of Priest's work considering that serial killer one.

LOVE the world building and tension. Love love it.

Irritating characters? Not horrible but theyre already talking nwft and I dislike how they've depicted a stoic ml. Just, kinda boring idk. Not enough tension between the main characters, ig is what im trying to say. Good to read for fun/quick/easy read.

Not enough pining or longing, feels like it's moving too fast. I need more exposition, the part I'm at came by way too fast. Cases were okay to read but ultimately hollow. A light exploration of fantasy and horror elements more than idk, what I wish it was.
