A theme that I continue to pick up from this book is the theme of yearning for more and wanting to know what is beyond the borders of heaven, the constant curiosity.

Judging by the context and overall vibe of the story so far, I believe that our main character will continue to search for more knowledge and uncover something that will cause her to escape the Heaven Institute.

Lyra, the main character, is known for her very curious attitude towards her surroundings, always searching for something new to learn about.

Liquid chromatography - "Banks of computers, screens filled with swirling colors, hard metal equipment, words Lyra had heard he whole life without knowing they meant-spectrometry, biometrics, liquid chromatography-beautiful words, words to trip over and fall into"

I'm guessing it means something medical and liquid

My book, Replica, takes place in 'The Heaven Institute', where that is, geographically, I have no idea.
