I chose this book because it seemed interesting and it's a topic I find very interesting

This book's style is more academic because of the use of quotations and explanations of content

I chose this book because it seemed very informative of a time that was looked over in the violence that it produced

A time I felt unified was when Asa beat Maximus Magyna, who was the favorite to win the state championship at 175. He was also a 3-time state champion, looking for his 4th state title in four years, which is very rare.

It tells us we don't know what is going to happen, so why worry about it

I feel like if I had the same argument, I would be on Nina's side, and I think the length of the string would not matter to me

My first priority would be to visit my family and friends who mean the most to me

They are somewhat similar; they are being discriminated against. they should stand up for themselves because they are human

If I had a shorter string and I was able to save someone, then I would, because my time is already limited, but saving someone so they could live longer would make me feel good, because my dying act is saving someone.

I would not open the box without their permission because that is for them and them only.

I don't like him because in the book on page 72 it says "overheard a drunken Anthony make crass, sexist comments about female partygoers at his fraternity". which is not cool

He tries to hide his string length from everyone. It's different in the sense that he wants to hide it from everyone. This tells us that he is private, and he wants to feel normal around people so they don't treat him differently.

I do believe in miracles because miraculous things happen daily in sports and in everyday life, for some because they were told they wouldn't be able to walk, or even be alive. One example of a miracle is the Miracle on Ice.

Hank will probably have lots of trauma because he possibly knows who it is. This will affect society by creating a divide between short-stringed individuals and long-stringed individuals. This relates to the US currently because there is a problem with mass shootings, but there is a divide on whether to have gun security or not.

I wouldn't test it because what if I don't survive? What if I am not invincible? And still get hurt? For these reasons, I would not test it.

Maura is rather somber because of her string size, and Nina is trying to cheer her up by making her go to a support group, but she would rather spend her little time doing things she wants to with whom she wants to. Amie is more curious and excited about its wonders, but after teaching her class that had shrunken in size, she is less excited

Nina doesn't really want to believe the strings are real almost in a state of denial I can infer this because in the book on page 23 she states " We live in the real world. And these strings aren't real." whereas Ben believes in the string and is already copping by attending a support group for people with short strings.

If I received a box like the one in the book I would refrain from opening it because I would like to stay in the dark about my possible demise so I don't live scared
