My book is about a girl named Brynn who is aiming to be a journalist after a ruined representation

The setting of my book takes place in the deep forest in the Upper Peninsula during today's times.

In the book Three Truths and a Lie, there is so much tension between each character. I can tell this because of the actions the characters take and the way thier body language is described or the language they say. For example, Liam, one of the characters, says, "truthfully, she makes me uneasy," which straight up tells me there is tension.
