Half way through and nothing happened thus far...

This book reminds me of the tv show Severance, in a way. It is not the identical idea but close.
Funny enough, I am the only person I know who did not enjoy Severance. Not one bit.

The narrator on this book is pretty terrible. Feels like she's about to fall asleep at any moment, bored out of her mind and she's making a very obvious effort to stay awake create some sort of intonation.

Despite that, the book sounds promising so I am going to keep going.

It's such a delight to read this book!!! And the narrator is doing a fantastic job! I'm enjoying it tremendously!

All of the sudden, 17h feels not enough. The magic of a well written book!

This book feels like has been written 100 times before. I sure hope I am wrong but thus far it feels like we have the now classic scenario of gaslighted wife by the husband and his mistress.

The narrator of this book Lucy Rayner is horrible.
Having a 70 year old pretending to be a 20 year old and a 40ish year old is NOT happening.

The game of will they won't they is ON!! The author is really keeping us readers on the edge of the seat on this one!! Sooo good!! Love it!!!

I really wish Goodreads would have 2 type of ratings: the ACR ones and the other ones. Because the ACR ones are 90% fake. This is not a 4+ book, actually 80% of the 4+ stars books are overrated by the ACR people.

How is this a 4 stars book? what are people that are rating such books reading in general?
