I’m leaving Goodreads…permanently. After I post this I’m deleting the app.
I’ve come to the conclusion that this app hasn’t really done anything for me except steal my innocence and precious time with my family. I thought this app would be a fun way to connect with others, but it has not fulfilled those expectations. So, bye. I love you all and will be praying for you!

The fact that Coriolanus was able to fit his friend’s ENTIRE MEAL in his front pants pocket is a testimony to how lucky guys are with giant pants pockets. Us girls? We can hardly fit our fingers in! (If the pockets aren’t sewn shut!)

I’m reading this for a research paper I’m doing, so I don’t have much to say as this is not really for pleasure. I am preferring Twenge’s books so far though, as this writing sounds like it’s coming from a highly educated University Professor, who wants us to try and higher our reading level to his extreme intellect, but as I said before, I’m not reading this for pleasure, so it doesn’t really matter.

I’m re-reading this for school, and am remembering all over again how much I love Patricia St. John and her tender writing style. Reading this alongside learning about Church History in school has been super fun as well.

Bobbie Lathrop is finished with More Than a Carpenter
Been reading two chapters a day for school, and it’s been really, really good so far! One of the best apologetics books I’ve read!

So….forgot to mark that I started this….but whatever.
Honestly, when I started this, I wasn’t THAT impressed. The worldbuilding was kinda bland for me and…I dunno, it just felt very…plain. I’m on Chapter 21 now and it’s definitely picked up, the MC is a lot more interesting, especially in contrast to the other characters and the plot. Overall, pretty good so far!

Loving this book so much and it’s on its way to getting five stars. Rivers has such a talent for bringing my heart along with the story.

Just started this book last night and am enjoying it! The worldbuilding is really complex, so it takes a little while to get used to everything, but overall pretty good!

So…I read this once before, and I think I was a little too young for it, cause I didn’t understand a thing. But now, I’m liking it a lot! Heather is such a sweet and relatable character, being the oldest sister. Love the family dynamics and worldbuilding!

Pretty good so far. The dialogue and prose is a little wordy though. Hoping it gets better. I really want to like this!
