I have to stop because I have work tomorrow but I’m in love with this book. The characters, their flashbacks, and the way the brothers are foils of each other make the book an enjoyable read so far. This is my first time reading a book by an Ethiopian author and it honestly made me a little emotional. What I love the most about this work of historical fiction is how it makes the events of the revolution come alive.
