I feel like this is a twist on the x men. I still don't really trust Adam like I feel I should. It is just too suspicious that two people that are immune to J are in the same place at the same time and looking for her. This section of the book is making me so sad. Not because it is a sad section, but because of the difference in the ZA characters at this time. Lance has hopes and dreams, and the heir are just goofy little kids because they are only 14 at this time. It breaks my heart to see how much they are different in the ZA series. Also the ability for the authors to create such waves of emotion is outstanding.

The shed has been awfully quiet of late and Charlie has been at the house way more than usual. Charlie is also going to be staying and being a caretaker for Howard when he gets back home. I can see why Charlie ends up with the house. Howard is learning to trust Charlie and Charlie is starting to like Howard and he loves his dog.

Ryder now knows why Elise is at Aurora Academy and who she really is. They interrogated Mrs. Nightmare and she really didn't know anything about Gareth. I really think that this Black Card Cult is related to Lionel. Plus, Gabriel keeps having visions of Lance using black magic which I know he has been using for a long time (from ZA POV). I'm excited to see what goes down in at ZA when they are all together.

This kid has had a rough life from the very beginning. Mom killed then father becomes an alcoholic and loses his job. Eventually his father got help from a former coworker and then took a chance to start his own company. Which leads to the kid feeling like he owes the world his life for giving him what he wanted. He is working to pay off a debt. Which leads him to saving an old man is a scary house

I have learned nothing, but there was a lot of relationship growth between Dante, Ryder, Leon, and Elise. I wish I got more chapters from Gabriel, but I didn't. Dante also might have helped Elise with a job that the k brothers had from Ryder. Aka Dante (maybe) helping Ryder with a plan against his (Dante) own gang. Only time will tell! Ryder also is showing a softer side. Side Note: the shower scene?!?!??!?!?

Gabriel KNOWS! Elise found out that her brother was paying off their mother's debt and saving her. This left her heartbroken. Felix ruined the birthday party and Dante had to put him in his place.
