Inciting Incident: The inciting incident in my book is when Newt leaves the berg. When Newt leaves the berg the whole rest of his life changes as he is introduced to many new people and a new place known as crank palace. Cranks are the people who are affected by the flare. Crank palace is a large area that is inhabited by cranks and guarded by the immune. If newt had never left the berg he never would have been dead.

SUMMARY: Thomas and the rest of the gladers have found out about the code and the answer to escape the maze. They began their trek to the cliff or the griever's hole. As Thomas looked around he realized they were surrounded by grievers. As battle raged Thomas, Teresa, and Chuck yelled for the gladers to open a path to the hole. Thomas while running to the hole was repeating the code in his head.

Summary: Harkat Mulds and Darren Shan are in the world of Harkats dreams trying to find out about his past and bring an end to his daily nightmares. They have already completed 2 of Desmond Tinys requirements and have found a new friend on their new objective of reaching the Temple of The Grotesque.

Inciting Incident: The Inciting Incident in my book is when Tris and Tobias meet the Allegiant or the rebellion against the factionless as the Allegiants goal is to bring back the factions and escape the city, overpowering the factionless in the process. This will change Tobias and Tris's lives if they leave the city as there is said to be war. This proves that the Inciting Incident of Allegiant is their escape.

ARCHETYPES: The main archetype in my book is The Quest. The reason that my book is the archetype the quest is that the main character's goal/quest is to finish Dauntless Initiation and to become a member of Dauntless. In the quest archetype the main character faces many challenges which relates to my book since the main character has gone through many challenges.

The current summary of what I am able to produce from 21 pages of this book is that there are 5 factions known as Abnegation, Candor, Erudite, Amity, and dauntless. It also seems that there is also a test that can divide you into the factions and that the main character has multiple brothers and is not allowed to look into a mirror.

Visualize: In my book, there are many moments that allow me to visualize what is going on. For example, Priyanka, Suzume, and Roman raid a gas station for supplies to get to where they need to go. They end up getting captured in the end which also help show when Suzume, the protagonist ends up going unconscious. This is all very easily visualized as 3 people breaking into a gas station who all end up captured.

TEXT to WORLD: Almost the entire text can be related to the world as it shows a dystopian world where a corrupt government limits children and keeps them in camps which involve books 1-3. In this book I can make text to WORLD as people are constantly making bounties and attempting to kidnap others just because they are global figures. This is also demonstrated as going too far accidentally and not being believed.

Characterization: The way a character is revealed in my book is revealing their feelings. As for example in chapter one Ruby is not named directly but we know that it is ruby because of her anger and saying how she can ruin the lady who threw a bomb at her car. A final way I know that the author uses feelings is that the author also doesn't reveal in the prologue that it is Zu and instead slowly shows hesitance.

Antagonist: The antagonist in my book is President Gray. The way that I can prove he is the antagonist is because he is the one who invented the rehabilitation camps which were not exactly helping the kids, but torturing them even more. One final way that he is the antagonist is he is not helping to get rid of agent ambrosia which is what made the children have powers.

Static Vs. Dynamic: The protagonist, or ruby, is a dynamic character as throughout the story she goes through multiple changes like training herself and is learning to feel sympathy for those who's mind she goes into.
The antagonist president gray is a static character as he does not change throughout the story and keeps his one goal of keeping IAAN kids in their rehabilitation camps.

CONFLICT: The Conflict in my book is Character Versus character as there are many moments in which ruby is fighting with another character. The main reason ruby ends up fighting is almost always over food as her group never has enough food. They also have a prisoner named Clancy who ruby also fights with via mind rather than physically.

PREDICTIONS: I predict that my book will show up with Ruby and the rest of the league raiding the Thurmond and Oasis camps and saving hundreds of kids. I can prove my hypothesis because they were investigating the camps files and getting ready for more kids to make the raid on oasis or the warm-up for Thurmond where there are thousands of kid
