VISUALIZE: In my book after Nine and her friends undo the curse. Flabbergast rushes to the cupboard to get tea he really wanted for years, and they had a tea party. I could imagine the taste of the strawberry tea while reading. The book said Nine licked her lips and everything felt so perfect which helped me visualize it.

TEXT to TEXT: The main character in Fourth Wing is very similar to the main character in The House At The Edge of Magic. This is because even though they had a chance of safety they still went and chose the dangerous route. Like how Nine could have stayed with her nest but still went back to the magic house to try and get the gem. Or how Violet could have got in the scribes quadrant but wanted to stay in the riders.

CHARACTERIZATION: The way the main character in my book is revealed is the things she feels. In chapter six she feels that she hates her life because her boss has the only thing that belonged to her. So she sets out to go back to the magic house to try and get the red gem that could change her life. This reveals that she actually cares about her possession and would do anything to change her life and have it.

ANTAGONIST: The antagonist in my story is Jack Barlowe. Jack goes to the same war college as Violet and seeks revenge for his parents. This is because Violet's mom executed his parents which were part of a rebellion. Jack tries many times to kill Violet but all fails. For example when he tries to throw her off the parapet but Violet escapes his attempt.

STATIC CHARACTER: There are many static characters in my novel but one is Tarin. Tarin is Violet's dragon who she bonded with by trying to save another dragon. Tarin doesn't change or evolve when faced with a conflict or a problem. This makes Tarin one of the static characters in my book.

CONFLICT: The conflict in my story is character vs. self. This is because Violet has to try to survive the most dangerous quadrant in the war collage the riders quadrant. She has come to many close death encounters but with fighting technique she survives them. Many people also make fun of her height saying she is too short to become a rider but she proved them wrong.

PREDICTIONS: I predict that Violet Sorrengail falls in love with Xaden and Dain gets jealous. I think this is because Violet is starting to have weird feelings about Xaden but keeps brushing them off. But after the threshing Dain kissed Violet. In the book it says, "they have to be lovers. I am not jealous. Nope. That pit of ugliness spreading inside my chest" This is clearly evidence that Violet like Xaden.

P.O.V-The point of view in my book is first person. Narrated by Violet Sorrengail the main character. I know this because she uses the words like "I", "I'm", "mine", and "I've". For example she said, "My hand screams with pain even though I'm sure I formed the fist right, but I block it out as we both gain our feet." Using this evidence I can tell that the book's point of view is first person.

PROTAGONIST: The protagonist is Violet Sorrengail. She is the main character because it's from her point of view, she is also narrating the story. She is in a war collage but in a quadrant she doesn't want to be in after her mom switched her quadrant last minute. She is about to go to the threshing where she either will be killed or bond with a dragon. This evidence shows that she is the main character/protagonist.

SETTING: The setting of the book takes place at Basgiath in a war collage. In the riders quadrant at the second year floor where violet is not supposed to be at. She goes with her friend to aid her knee. After she fell and injured it while she was crossing the valley. She wraps her knee in her friends room and they go back to the main floor of the riders quadrant.

GENRE: My book genre is fantasy and romance. I know this because this book is about dragon riders and dragons are not real. The main character also meets her enemy in collage and they fall in love with each other. That's why my books genre is fantasy and romance.

Violet is getting ready for the entrance exam for the riders quadrant in the war college. A few hours earlier her mom switched her into the riders quadrant last minute after years of her training to be a scribe. Her sister clearly against the idea helps Violet get ready for the exam giving her advice and dressing her up. They go the war college and go in line to sign in. Then she finds she has to cross a valley.
