SUMMARY: Currently, there is a huge trial going on in Maycomb. It is involving Tom Robinson who is being defended by Atticus. Who is Jem and Scout's father. Scout doesn't understand what's going on with her father and this huge trial between her father and this man.

POINT OF VIEW: In this novel the point of view is 1st person told by Jean Louise (Scout) Finch. I know this because we only see Scout's experiences and at all times Scout is in the picture. "Walter's one of the Cunninghams, Miss Caroline. I said. I beg your pardon, Jean Louise?" (pg.22) This shows that the narrator is Jean Louise and told by 1st person.

PREDICTIONS: Currently, Sam and AJ are dating each other. Before they got together, Sam was stalking his ex-girlfriend Devon. Sam is scared that he will find out about the obsession with finding out more about his ex. My prediction is that AJ will find out or catch Sam researching more about Devon and they will get in a fight. I think this because whenever something is going well something bad happens to ruin it all.

SETTING: In this novel, scenes often take place in Samantha's high school like the theater, classrooms, and lockers. Her high school and home is located in Southern California in a small town we don't know the name of. The story is supposed to be set around the mid-2010s. Currently, the scene is taken place at the high school where Samantha is a junior at.

GENRE: This novel is in the thriller genre. At the end of every chapter it leaves readers on their toes because of the plot twists. An example of a plot twist is that we find out April cheated on Elliot a while ago with the soccer coach Mark. And now, she find out Elliot is cheating on her with his secretary. This book is fast paced and makes readers wonder what's happening next, and so it's definitely a thriller.

CONFLICT: Tricia is facing a conflict with her self. Her and her husband are thinking of buying a house, but they're faced with a weird feeling about this house. There's a giant portrait of this uncanny almost perfect lady in the living room. There are books like the "Anatomy of Fear" by an author who went missing and then found dead. Because of this they are thinking of not ending up buying the house.
