Inciting Incident: I think that the narrative event that launches the main action is the new kid, Jordan is going to a new school and is going to have a couple surprises. This is because Jordan is black, and from the pictures they have been looking at of this school didn't look too segregated. He is also from the hood so they might be racist to him, and he also is the new kid so they might not like him anyways.

I think that the archetype of my book is not clear but leans the most towards rags, and riches. This is because the main character Drew is black, and from the hood, and is going to a private school with, a bunch of rich kids. The book even started that if he were to date a white girl he would feel or will get profiled for being black, and being from the hood. He also thinks that his community thinks he's a trader.

The main characters are Drew, Jordan, and Andy. This is because the book that came before this one was about Jordan, and Now it is about Drew, plus Andy is kind of the enemy. This story is about a colored boy that has friends but kind of has been getting teased by someone that is jealous that he is popular, and athletic. Andy the person who teased Drew was the qb on the football team then lost his spot by Drew.

So far I visualized that it is everybody's first day of school, and the book shows all of the people in the friend group waking up, and eating there breakfast. They all go to school and talk about each others summers. two out of the three friend were hanging out all summer but one was missing. And I think they are all in the eighth grade because one of the kids was the new kid last year.

I think that military camp is making good connections to bad kids that need to shape up. This is because there is a kid that used to be a juvenile named Lenwood that use to egg peoples houses, but is now has a job, and now is shaped up, and became a man. And this is because he took the military school during spring break, and it really shaped him up. And Greg isn't that bad of a kid but he needs to because a man.

Greg feels like his brother is the favorite, because they go to church and Manny brings toys, but Greg remembers when he was that age he couldn't bring anything. Also Greg feels this way is because when Greg was a little boy started picking up cuss words from his older brother and getting in trouble, and now Manny is picking up cuss words from him and getting money from Greg because he is a bad influence to him.

I think the antagonist is Leon. Because Leon is kind of a bully to Greg, and smacks him whenever the teacher is not looking. Leon would also flick Greg's ear, but that might no longer be a problem because Leon is starting to get caught, and starting to become a troublemaker. Greg is also doing stuff like clapping when the teacher is not looking to make it seem like Leon is smacking him so Greg can get him in trouble.

Static V.S. Dynamic; I think that in this book the Static person is Greg. This is because he is the first person in how the book is written, and the book is about him because he is a wimpy kid. And for the Dynamic character is this book is Greg's best friend, Rowley. This is because he is kind of the side kick in the book being Greg's best friend and because he is very childish wich makes him interesting.

My character in up against another character in a conflict. The conflict is now Miles thinks that Kaylani killed Chadwick. This is because she was one of the last people to see him and she was at the party where he got in a fight and told miles that she didn't go there because she was one of the last people to see him.

Prediction: In this book the main character is Kaylani, and she recently got in a fight with the Watson"s over them thinking that she stole money and she was sad. So I think that she is going to go back to Brooklyn but before that she will somehow see the Obama's and get her dad out of jail, and then go home to see her dad and it will be a happy ending. And hopefully Miles will find out who killed his brother.

POV: Kaylani is telling the story from first person pov. " Just wait." I wisper. This means that the person telling the story right now is talking in first person because she is talking about herself and saying it is her, by saying "I".

I think the protagonist is Kaylani because it's first person and She is telling the story. I don't think she really cares about what she is doing, and that she only cares about her dad. I think this is because in chapter eight she talked about the kid Chadwick that had died from a shark, and during the funeral she left it with the dead persons brother and she was only looking for some one to help her dad and they wer

Setting: The story takes place on a island. I know this because the girl has stated that they are on a Island, and because there are a lot of beaches but it is a small town. I think that explains that its a Island because most Islands are small towns and they have a lot of beaches, which geolography makes a island.

GENRE:I think that my book is a realistic fiction. This is because the stuff that happens in it could happen but has never happened before. I also think that it is realistic fiction because it is not a true story because it never happened before.

Her dad is in jail for a reason that the author has not started. She gets to call her dad everyday but her mom sent her on a trip where she cant do that.
She saw one of her old friends but the only thing she cares about is her dad.

So she has a dad that is in jail and her mom sent her off to the vinyard.
