Making connections: The connection I made was to book the outsiders, The connection was when Ponyboy says they're just humans. On page 100 kojero says "Invencible is just a word." In the book the main characters only goal is to become invencible but that is just a word a label you should not let a label explain all of you, Like SOC and greaser.

Setting: The setting of my book is the Edo period of Japan. I think it is very unique for a book to be written about Edo-period Japan, because not many books are written about this period. On page 446, Musashi says," I will be fighting the master of the Yoshioka school." This quote shows that he is fighting a dojo that existed only in the Edo period, so they must be in the Edo period.

Protagonist: The protagonist is Musashi Myomoto he is very determined to be invincible under the sun and will do anything to get there. On page 128 Musahshi is talking to otsu and says " I can't be with you right now because I have a dream a dream I will never let go and if I take you, you will get hurt." This shows that Musahshi is the protagonist because he cares about people and if they will get hurt of not.

Type of conflict: The type of conflict in my book is character vs charter. On page. 24 Legolas says "If we can not catch up with sauron and his orks it might be the end. This quote shows that the charaters are up against the evil forces of sauron.

Antagonist: The antagonist in my book is Sauron he is a very powerful person with a ring of power. On pg. 12 Aragorn says "we will follow the Orks that Sauron has sent we will follow their tracks." This quote is important because the Orks in this book are bad people ao if Sauron is leading them that means he is bad and very powerful.

Visualize: In my book when Fire Heart was describing Tiger Claw I could really visualize it like I was there looking straight at him. On page 99 Fire Heart says "From the edge of the clearing, the deputy's amber gaze seemed to mock him." This quote relates to what I said because it makes you really visualize Tiger Claws eyes and how scary they probably look.

Inciting Incident: In my book the the inciting incident is when charlie first talks about his dad playing basketball and how he wanted to be like him. "... I saw my dad cross up Mr.Jakson It's like he put him on ice skates I wish I could ball like that." Later in the book charlie starts to play and love basketball and later he even makes a game winning shot like his dad

Tragedy: I think my book is a tragedy because at the start of the book they make it a big plot point that the main character's dad died. On page 20 it says " this up coming summer will be the first one without my dad." I think because his dad died it makes the story even more sad because he start to do stuff because he has no dad anymore.

SUMMARY: My book is about a young teenage boy and his friends and their everyday life. Some events take place in the book because the main character's dad died Like the main character steals and skips class because he feels sad that his dad died. On pg.75 it his friend says "...are u gonna skip again." Again he does these things like skip and steal because he feels like something is missing and that is his dad.

Visualize: In this book they make you really visualize the basketball court and the sounds you hear when your playing in a game. on pg. 200 the main character says " I can hear the rough of the crowd..." That piece of evidence shows the sound of the basketball game.

MAKING CONNECTIONS: One thing that I really connect with in my book is the way the main character loves basketball so much. I love basketball so much I play It every day. I really relate to how much drive he has for basketball too.

characterization: I think what makes my Character my character is his love for basketball. on pg.48 he says " dad takes us to the rec again..."this is important because it shows he always plays basketball and he loves it.

Antagonist: There is no real antagonist in my book yet but I kind of think it is the main charaters mother. I think this is because on page 3. "The cat is dead which is why it is cold." I think this could make her the antagonist later in the book because she said that her 3 year old son flat out when he petted the cat and asked why it was cold.

Static v. Dynamic: One character that is dynamic is the main character denji. On page 156 he says " I don't follow orders mindlessly anymore. I am not a dog!" I think this dynamic because before he would just follow order and now he thinks for him self.

CONFLICT: I think the conflict in the story is character vs character. I think this because on page 124 Aki says "That settles it I will never get along with this women." I think this shows that aki does not not really like his partner and that is why I think it is character vs character.

PREDICTIONS: I think that the 2 main charters Himino and Aki are going to be good partners together because Himino has had 5 buddy's before him and she seems like a very skilled person, and it seems like Himino cares about her partners. "Don't you die, Aki." pg.110. I think this shows that Himino cares about Aki and she will not let him die.

My story is told in 3rd person omniscient. I know this because the narrator tells what both people are thinking. Like in some of the writing the narrator will be telling one person's feelings and then tell the others like in the middle of the story it changes to a different person.
