PROTAGONIST: Right now, the protagonist of the book is Peter Pan because he is leading the children to the main event. He's not necessarily the main character, but he's a really important supporting character to lead the story on. Like captain Hook just got introduced, and he's trying to convince John to go wake him so Peter can kill him. But Hook is a very important villain in the story. Peter can be a villain too..

VISUALIZE: At the beginning of chapter 6, Bod is reading a book called Robinson Crusoe that he got from Thackery Porringer's grave. But later, he gets caught reading it by Thackery's spirit, and Thackery punches his ear. The books explains the stinging sensation and ringing in Bod's ear as Thackery goes away. I could imagine this feeling because I've felt it before, and it seems like the stinging would burn a little.

Genre: This book is going to be a science-fiction type of genre. For how far I've gotten, the story line is about a baby that escaped its crib and went outside to the town's Graveyard. At the same time, a mystery man named Jack is out to get the baby, and kill him. But, the baby gets taken by ghosts of the graveyard, because the mother died and asked them to take care of her baby. Very fictional and scientific.

INCITING INCIDENT: At the beginning of the story, Pip is introduced to a new mystery. Jamie Reynolds, her friend Conner's older brother, went missing. He asked her for help when the police denied service because Jamie is an adult and had backgrounds of leaving. Pip originally said no to helping, as she didn't want to fall down the hole again, but eventually decided to go through with it. She knows things will change.

ARCHETYPES: I would say out of the 7 types of themes, this book is the quest and comedy theme. It's a story about a mystery Pip and Ravi are trying to solve, and during the way, they make jokes and soon end up falling for each other. But at the same time, they work together to find new clues to help them soon come to a conclusion of the mystery, Following more of the comedy/romance type, they end up dating in part 2.

SUMMARY: Pip and Ravi discover that Sal's friends, Max, Naomi, Jake, and Millie had lied to the police about what time Sal left because of a threat they received from an unknown person. It was proved that Sal wasn't guilty, and now Pip and Ravi are trying to find more connections to who might have set the whole thing up to look bad. But, Pippa starts receiving threatening papers telling her to put everything off.

VISUALIZE: In my chapter, Pip and Ravi are trying to find out who the 'Secret Older Guy' Andie was seeing in 2014 is, to give them another clue or maybe a lead. "We can see the rest if the bathroom, too, from its cream ceiling with circle spotlights down to its tiled floor. A red-and-white tiled floor." The context is when they found a rather weird photo of Andie Bell in that same setting behind Max Hastings' poster.

TEXT TO TEXT: This book is like The Disappearance of Rachel Price, both of them are kind of a murder mystery by the same author, but different plots I believe. I find that the main character is always a teenage girl trying to find the truth about either a missing person case, or unsolved mysteries is a better statement. The main character always finds ground breaking evidence to find more and more about the truth.

CHARACTERIZATION: Pip Amobi, an intelligent and educationally dedicated 17 year old girl, is investigating a famous missing persons case for her senior Capstone project. So far in the book, it seems that Pip feels that Sal Singh, the main principal for Andie's disappearance, is not guilty. "Because I don't think your brother did it-and I'm going to try to prove it." This shows she has strong emotions and she's eager.

ANTAGONIST: There really is no antagonist in this story, because there's no twisted plot or like an evil step mother or something. If anything, I think the antagonist is the whole Sinclair family, because there are a lot of secrets hiding within the family. "What makes you think I'd want my whole extended family keeping secrets from me-." This shows that they keep things away from Cadence after her accident to hide.

Static Vs Dynamic: I believe that the main character, Cadence, is a static character. I feel like she has a very non-changing personality, and she doesn't change her personality. "Still, she has an aura of mystery that stops her from being teased or singled out..- People who know her at school tend to keep away." These quotes show that she stays mysterious and her personality doesn't change, nor do her reactions.

CONFLICT: The conflict in the story is Cadence and her own mind. She doesn't know why she is the way she is after the incident, and she doesn't know why she still wants Gat. She struggles to grasp on her memories, and she hates being seen as the sick daughter the aunts talk about. She constantly wonders if Gat still sees her like he said he did, and she hates it that she still loves him. Or does she? Who knows..

PREDICTIONS: I believe that Cadence's memory and well-being is going to get worse now with her body in constant pain and the loss of Gran. "I could hear Dad calling me, but I never answered until my medicine took effect." Meaning that she isn't exactly mentally present until she takes her medicine. She's disassociating more often now and no longer cares about school. She looks sickly, but isn't being bullied somehow.

Point of View: The point of view the story is told is 3rd person omniscient. I know because the way the story is told, the main focus is on Bel, which the narrator knows all her feelings and thoughts. But, the narrator does not give the feelings or thoughts of the other characters. The point of view does not change, but rarely changes to a point where it's Bel's point of view. The story is closely narrated to Bel.

PROTAGONIST: Bel, or Annabelle, is the protagonist of the story. "She planned everything, but she hadn't planned on Bel seeing it." In almost every chapter, Bel is always finding story changing information to keep the mystery going. She's the hero and the villain, because she's trying to prove that Rachel is lying, but also is trying to get rid of her. She's the protagonist, and Rachel is the antagonist allegedly..

SETTING: The story of Rachel Price's reappearance takes place in Gorham, New Hampshire. Her disappearance was on February 13th, 2008, and reappeared sometime in April of 2024. Most of the story takes place in Gorham, Bel's school, at her house, or at the hotel where the film crew stays. Bel and Ash stick together to try and find any hints to Rachel lying about her story. Bel's dad disappears to Vermont for days..

GENRE: I think my book is a mystery and thriller. I think this is because the book keeps you on your toes, and some things that Bel notices are very shocking, so it's like a thriller. The way the book is written, and the questions Bel asks after catching onto Rachel's flaws in her story, it really gets you thinking. It's a thriller because the subtle hints of something more than a reappearance is exciting to read.

GENRE: The genre of this book is mainly mystery and thriller. It's about the Price family, and the missing wife and mother, Rachel Price. Amidst making a documentary about her disappearance, Rachel suddenly reappears in everyone's lives again after being gone for '15-16' years. But, is she lying about her story? Bel finds many flaws and mistakes in her stories she tells other people, and Bel has much doubt present..
