I imagine Jack meeting an old gang member to be in an alley while the old gang member is dressed in a leather jacket and ripped jeans. I imagine that because Jack thought that the former gang member was still a part of the gang. I also imagine the former gang member to have a fatherly expression because while Jack is talking to him Jack realizes that the former gang member had a good heart and wasn't truly evil.

Iris Aou is finished with Legend (Legend, #1)
Text to text: The book "Legend" is similar to the book "The Giver" because they both take place in dystopian settings. The government in both books are evil either taking away feelings or designing viruses to be infected into the poor or not intelligently gifted students. The main characters in both books ignore the rules and continue breaking them even though they know that if they get caught they will be killed.

June is making a plan in order to help Day escape from the firing squad. Making the plan reveals that June wants to correct her mistake for turning Day in. It shows that June cares about Day even though he was framed to have killed her brother. This means that June cares more about making things right by becoming a runaway or fugitive for the right reasons than doing what the government wants for the wrong reasons.

Commander Jameson is the antagonist in "Legend." In the book she frames Day, the Republic's most wanted criminal, and gives June the job of tracking and killing Day. She manipulated June in to thinking that Day killed her brother when instead she actually killed June's brother. While the republic is trying to find Day she keeps him in exile framing him for murder and actively manipulating June to do her dirty work.

Static vs Dynamic: Karana is a Dynamic character having to change throughout the book physically and mentally to both survive and thrive. For example, when she nurses Rontu back to health she used to think that the wolfs were fierce and would only attack her if she got closer, but as her love with Rontu develops and as Rontu is getting nursed back to health, Karana realizes that the wolf can be friendly and loving.

Iris Aou is finished with Five Survive
In the book there are 6 kids against 1 sniper trying to figure out who has the big secret and has to own up in order to survive. In the book the sniper makes the kids think that they have the right secret owning up to things that make them turn on each other. The kids own up to things adding in character vs self conflict. Even though there are different types of conflict the main conflict is character vs character.

Iris Aou is on page 200 of 240 of Gathering Blue (The Giver, #2)
I think that there are truly no beasts in the forest and that Kira's father had been attacked by someone in the hunt. Anabella says that "There be no beasts" on page 150. I think that means that there are small harmless animals, but there is nothing that attacks men. I believe what Anabella says because she lives in the forest so deep that it takes Kira an hour to walk from the village to Anabella's house.

Iris Aou is finished with The Wishing Spell (The Land of Stories, #1)
POV A narrator is telling the story from the 3rd person omniscient point of view. The narrator constantly uses nouns like he/she/it. The narrator also knows what all of the characters are feeling like fear and love. All of these signs point to this book's point of view being 3rd person omniscient.

PROTAGONIST: The protagonist in my book is Alex. She is a star student in 6th grade with strawberry blonde hair and bright blue eyes. At school people call her a teacher's pet and a show-off. She has a brother who isn't exactly a good student, he falls asleep in class even if trying to focus.

Iris Aou is starting The Cruel Prince (The Folk of the Air, #1)
The genre of the book is romance fantasy fiction. The book is very captivating because of the dark story line and the astonishing drama that you would never expect having two sisters be in love with the same person. The story takes place in Farie a land where it is ruled a king where he is trying to find his successor.
