Riverside is blowing teams out and almost scoring triple digits but the other teams in the league are getting mad that they don't have any sportsmanship. Riverside has a record of 5-0 and is climbing the leader board in California.

Through these pages it showed pictures of the team and what their field looks like. It showed the players and what they learned to do.

Riverside was going to face a deaf team that had beaten them so many times. Fremont is their rivalry because their school was named California School of the Deaf. The Coach put a list of the past scores of Riverside losing and not scoring a single point.

There is a kid that worked very hard to get in the starting lineup for the offensive line. While others were playing football he would scout the other team and he said he would try as hard as he could all the way until the end of the season.

The Cubs have their first close game and win against Calvary. They had a slow start and got tired in the second half but they won. The players on the Cubs can still make their childhood dreams come true by making it to the playoffs.

They explained how in 7th grade they tried to get this kid named Felix to play for the team and he didn't want to because he said they weren't good. He played anyway and in the following 8th grade season they went 8-0. He still plays now in High School but he was just yelled at by his coach and he cried in his room after.

Trevin, which is a running back for Riverside had a different style of play compared to others. While other people might try to avoid the tackle or make a move, Trevin went straight on and took the contact. This made every team they play be fearful of him. Their offensive line wasn't the strongest he had to improvise.

Teams in the NFL might go over to the coach after the play or go into a huddle. Where Riverside can just go to the line of scrimmage and use hand signals for plays. This saves time and it is easy for them.

The deaf players have a skill that hearing players don't have. That is when on the field they focus more on movement and sight. They rarely get penalties because they can't hear the opposing quarterback's cadence.

After Riverside had "Hell Week" they had a game against The Noli Indian Braves. They lost to them in the previous year in overtime 20-14. This time they beat them 68-0 and had high hopes of continuing the season.

The players at Riverside are starting training and conditioning. The coaches made them run to the point where almost everyone was throwing up. They couldn't afford for anyone to quit because they only had 21 people on the team. Riverside hadn't had a winning record ever and they hope to change that.

In this point of the book they are talking in 2021 it made it harder for the players because of COVID. They had to go to zoom meetings and couldn't do much in person.
