This is soooo good already

A few chapters in and I’m hooked!

Listening to the audiobook. For some reason, the writing strikes me as way more obviously basic and juvenile vs actually reading Frieda’s other books. The Spotify narrator is also not my cup of tea. But it’s compulsively listenable and I am enjoying it.

Laugh out loud funny. So enjoyable. I’ve read a few of the essays in this collection before, but listening to Sedaris read them in the audiobook is even more enjoyable.

Disappointed so far. The story is far less interesting than I thought it would be and the author’s style of recreating back and forth conversations throughout the story is tedious and unnecessary
