So far, the mc is irritatingly stupid at times. She literally just almost killed herself rather than handling a situation in a decisive and vastly more intelligent way.

So far, this could be called something along the lines of, "Theoretical PhD student who thinks he's a lot smarter and more clever than he is, somehow doesn't die horribly while routinely going on pretentious and inane philosophical tangents." That probably doesn't have the same ring to it, though. Also, I kept saying humans are tool users for a reason, moron. In my head. I'm not this MC.

Barely started, and so far I'm just hoping the MC is a lot less lame after moving to the new world. It's probably not fair, but the dude was just so lame and cringe inducing I'm not sure if I'll be able to stand him.

Mostly enjoying it, but I'm literally shocked Angela is still alive so far.

The MC is really getting annoying. He fails utterly to delegate. He's short sighted in the extreme. He constantly fails to catch easy clues. He seems to have no idea how to find/pick people with talent to fill various roles that don't involve combat. Which makes him kind of a shit leader.

It's getting a little irritating how short sighted, quick to anger, and kind of dumb the MC is. I get him being bad with politics. Understandable. His incredible failure to delegate tasks so he can focus on what he needs to be paying attention to as a leader is getting unforgivable. He's also been shit at cultivating the people he has available into resources.

The tangents and useless padding are killing me. A lot of the stuff happening throughout took too long because of how much useless and endless crap was added. Really could've used some editing to make the story actually flow. The extraneous crap hurts the story.

So far I enjoy the story and premise, but I'm getting annoyed quite often by the endless introspective soliloquy the MC has. He's in his head way too fuckin much. Less introspection, more focus on what's actually happening and the action. Less annoying introspection and corny villain rants, and more acting.

Honestly. Dude is a bit of a whiny bitch when it comes to certain issues that pop up. I literally called him a Karen in my head. He would do well to chill the fuck out, and he's not proving adept at actually using the bonuses he has acrued.

The MC is arrogant well beyond what he deserves to be. He often seems to lack any ability to think before acting way too often. Other times he does manage it, so that's something. He also thinks he's a lot more intelligent than he is.

Well, so far I'm really just hoping the MC gets a little less pathetic and starts showing he has some basic common sense pragmatism and less stupid.

Well. So far I'm skipping a fuck ton of extraneous shit I don't care or really need to know about, especially how much they talk about the minutiae of the "game mechanics". It's super fuckin annoying, ngl. I don't know I'll be able to get through this, which is a shame because the concept is one I like. Also, the dad makes piss poor decisions where his own character is concerned. Like, really dumb. Impressively so.

So far I really want to punch the MC in the throat. He's got no right to even have lived this long. He did 1 thing right at the beginning and then wound up in his situation. He then proceeds to be a panicky bitch making his life constantly more difficult. Then, he has a chance at an excellent ally without binding, and he becomes idiot turbo douche. Fucking dumb little bitch. Gah.

It's good. My only complaint is the cliche of the MC being a huge fucking angsty coward when it comes to women. It's seriously fuckin irritating. Hoping he sacks up and does something about it or shuts the fuck up about it. I'm good either way.

I'm getting ridiculously irritated at how the MC has become such an emotional hot mess. For fucks sake, the damsel routine is fuckin irritating, and 1 of the big things I liked about this series was her NOT being that.

Way more of an idiot and suddenly some useless emotional damsel in distress way too fuckin often.

She's been so much more of an idiot this book than the last, I don't know what to think. Really hope she grows the fuck up.

Really like the story, but She's so far gotten even worse as far as being overly emotional and high strung. She also is even worse at thinking things through, making smart choices, and she's become more of a spastic control freak so far. Really hoping she learns to better relax and use her brain more effectively soon.

Honestly, I'm in the very beginning still, and definitely enjoying it. It's hilarious. Also, the main character is a weird blend of "Street smart cynic" with elements of really not thinking things through, and the occasional bit of overly prideful stubbornness.
