Currentley in my book the main character was snooping in on his moms conversation that she was having with three strangers. Also he tries to join these dangerous man but they turn him down and ruff him around. The most key part of this was how when they were beating him up the group leader cam up to him and asked what his name was he said Crevalli and the guys got nervous and the main guy said.

On the pages I read the main character just rode his bike home after biking at dark and tried to sneak back into his house but sees mom at the top of the stairs.
