Entering Chapter 16, this section stands out with several unforgettable moments. The Bradley Gang shootout, the apocalyptic confrontation and the chilling Smokehole episode.

With the completion of Part 3, the stage is perfectly set for the play to begin. The Losers reunite, carrying only fragments of their memories, with the most crucial ones still missing. Henry is on his way seeking revenge, Bev’s husband arrives in Derry with his own violent intentions, and Bill’s wife follows to look after him. Meanwhile, the clown pulls every string, appearing in chilling glimpses it more tense.

End of chapter 10, The grown-ups return home carrying fragments of their childhood memories. As they reunite, they decide to stay and finally put an end to It—and that’s where the story delivers an unexpected surprise.

The second interlude concludes with the fire at the Black Spot, and the revelation at the end is incredibly powerful and well executed.

With the completion of Part 2, each of the characters begins to reconnect with their past while making their way back to Derry. The transitions between the two timelines are handled beautifully, with each carrying its own distinct tone and charm.

By the end of Chapter 4, the story shifts to a drunken Ben traveling back home, overwhelmed by memories of his past—his confrontation with the older bullies and his first meeting with Bill at the Barrens.

At the end of Part One, the three key chapters stand out: the tragic death of Georgie, the clown’s return 28 years later with another murder under the bridge, and the phone calls that bring the group back together. I especially loved the mini-stories behind each of the six calls—Bev’s story, in particular, was a highlight.

I thought I wouldn’t like it when she left the shop, but it turned out to be a deeply warm moment. I loved the emotional drama between her and her uncle—their conversations and shared moments were truly heartfelt.

I started falling in love with this world from the very first page.

During Nike’s capture, her warning that one of them will die sets the tension. Frank struggles with deadly ancestral poison, while Piper and Annabeth reach the war god’s temple, kill the giant, unleash the spirit of war, and—with the storm goddess’s help—beat him again. Meanwhile, Nico’s trio faces nonstop threats: ghosts, volcanoes, wolves, hunters, Amazons, Reyna’s past, and Octavian’s spy.

The story begins with the demigods reaching the ghost gathering to learn what happened to Jason and to receive Hera’s guidance. Following her instructions, they search for the Goddess of Victory and manage to control her after a tough challenge. Meanwhile, Reyna, Nico, and Coach Hedge travel to camp through shadow jumps, all while a dangerous hunter tracks them.

Percy is close to death until a peaceful giant heals him, though Annabeth’s attempt to recruit him fails. Bob guides them through the Death Mist and the realm of Night to reach the Doors of Death. Meanwhile, the Argo II is attacked by the Snow Queen; Leo is thrown onto Percy’s familiar old island, and Piper use her power to awaken the dragon to free the frozen crew and defeat the Queen.

Argo faces a deadly pirate, but Hazel uses magic to win. Jason then receives a vision of Rachel meeting the Romans, leading Reyna to retrieve the statue. Jason and Nico travel to a secret place and must confront a love god to gain help from a Roman ghost—revealing Nico’s hidden love. Meanwhile, Percy and Annabeth battle the curses of their past, leaving Percy in terrible shape.

One of the best sequences in the series unfolds when a usually funny, friendly character transforms into a deadly hero—single-handedly destroying an entire army of cow monsters. It’s truly one of Frank’s standout moments. After his unbelievable battle, the team receives guidance from the God of Farming and continues their quest, while Percy and Annabeth press on through the Underworld with Titan Bob at their side.

With the last book’s cliffhanger, the story dives straight in. Percy and Annabeth fall into the Underworld river, survive by drinking its fiery water, and follow vampire guides—until they turn hostile, only for Titan Bob to save them. Meanwhile, the others follow Hecate’s lead to the dwarves who stole their ship parts. Leo and Jason catch them, and Leo gives them a clever task to move the quest forward.

Leo, Frank, and Hazel find Archimedes’ workshop, fight possessed robots, and Leo gains a brilliant invention. Percy, Jason, and Piper face a cursed nymph fountain and reach the giants’ arena, where a huge battle ends with Mr. D helping defeat the giants. Meanwhile, Annabeth outwits the Weaver by making her build her own trap, buying time for her friends to save the statue.

The ship lands in Rome, and the team splits into three groups. Annabeth begins her solo quest, with Percy accompanying her until her stop, while Leo, Frank, and Hazel search for Nico, and Piper and Jason guard the ship. Annabeth’s journey is intense—climbing the sword-ladder, facing the Church of Dumb Ghosts, broken Angle, surviving the spider wave, and walking the beam—until she finally confront the weaver.

They’re attacked by a shrimp–catfish monster, sending Leo, Frank, and Hazel into the sea to be captured by fish–horse men. After they return, Annabeth reveals her need for a solo quest. They meet Hercules, and Jason and Piper must break the bull’s horn for him. Entering the ancient sea, they’re captured by pirates—only to be spared thanks to Mr. D’s name.

Guided by the goddess, they head to the fort to retrieve the map, only to be ambushed by the Romans. During the chaos, Annabeth manages to secure the map while confronting her deepest fear. With the combined power of Percy and Jason, they escape into the sea. My favorite part is Hazel and Leo’s visit to her past, where Leo shows her his grandfather—Hazel truly gets some of the most beautiful moments in the series.

After Piper’s visions, the trio seeks the wine god. Jason and Percy fall under spirit control and fight until Piper knocks them out with a horse and performs an exorcism. They head to the Atlanta giant, where Percy and Frank are trapped in a fish tank and rescued by a goat. Then they search for a map and meet the love goddess. I enjoy how each book shifts focus among the heroes.

Just when the first chance for a reunion finally arrives, it’s ruined by an unknown cold spirit. With that setback, all seven of our now-familiar heroes begin their journey aboard the Argo II. Their voyage hits a pause at a lake for repairs, where Leo and Hazel encounter the god of revenge, a charming Echo, and a hilariously self-obsessed figure. The adventure only grows richer from here.

They meet Ella, a friendly harpy, and Percy risks his life to protect her—earning vital clues in return. Their journey leads them to Reyna’s sister, now an Amazon leader. Meanwhile, Hazel pulls off a jailbreak and bonds with her first true horse. Together, they ride toward Frank’s home, pushing the quest into a more personal and emotional territory.

They arrive at the island filled with grain monsters, catch a glimpse of the growing giant army, and meet the Rainbow Goddess. Along the way, the characters slowly begin to understand one another better. Their journey to find the blind seer begins, setting the stage for deeper revelations and rising tension.

It mirrors Jason’s experience from the previous book—but because we already know Percy, the fresh traditions and new camp dynamics feel even more exciting. The war games were a highlight for me, full of energy and fun. The arrival of the God of War and his quest decree adds great momentum. And Hazel’s backstory chapter—tragic yet beautifully written—is one of my favorite moments in the entire Riordanverse.

Same world—but a whole new camp. More new heroes, the same gods with fresh Roman identities, familiar traditions with an exciting makeover, and a strict set of rules that sets everything apart. It’s a fresh start with a familiar charm, and it’s clearly going to be a lot of fun.

After escaping the saleswoman, they reach the Golden King’s mansion from Leo’s dream, then the werewolf cave where Jason’s sister saves them. Their journey continues to the Lord of the Air’s fortress and finally to California to face the giant with Piper’s mother’s blessing. With revelations about Jason’s past and the real antagonist, the story hits full momentum.

Leo provides them with a ride for the quest, leading them to the North Wind God, where an intriguing conversation unfolds in the icy chamber. Leo’s battle with the Cyclopes and their stop at the eerie sewer shopping mall add to the thrill — all while mysterious messages from Hera and the earth goddess keep the tension high.

Three new demigods have been claimed, and a new prophecy is given to Jason. Rachel reveals that the Great Prophecy has begun, slowly coming to light — with Hera playing a pivotal role in this unfolding journey.

It starts with an amazing opening — three demigods facing a monster attack, only to be rescued by Annabeth. And then comes the shocking revelation: Percy Jackson is missing. What a thrilling and unexpected start!
