Good book about past lives and soul plans and such. Goes into Amelia Earhart a bit too much for my taste.

Pretty good stories that mainly focus on an area, with different narrators picking up where another story ended....that ending typically going badly for the previous character.

Bit of a slow start to this one.

Many of the stories have better suspense and build-up than actual 'scary' resolution.

I haven't read an Easy Rawlins mystery in years, but the familiar cadence and style of the characters comes back well.

Really good interlude where Rand and Mat go to an Inn in Four Kings, play for their supper, and are accosted by the owner and some toughs in a small back room. Then a darkfriend comes. It's a good chapter, mostly just prose.

Really great prose in the chapters wandering on the Camaelyn Plain, being chased by crows.

Lots of fun reads here. Some are 'longer,' but most are quite short but still good.

Detailed info on the October 2019 raid into Syria to kill Baghdadi. Coward died in a tunnel, blowing himself and his two young sons up with a suicide vest while Army Rangers closed in.

Lots of info on how brutal ISIS was, drone strikes we did, and people at imprisoned and tortured.

Exciting chase by trollocs up and down the hills, then Lan lops the head off a Fade.

The account of the ancient empire of Manetheren, where the Two Rivers now stand, is quite breathtaking. A good couple of pages in chapter 6.

Lots of fascinating, often heart-warming tales of the early frontier life in Montana. Lots of objects are covered, from sketches to clothing to guns and grave markers. It's really the stories behind the objects, though, and the people that had them.

This is a good bathroom book because the chapters are about 2 pages, if even that.
