Really interesting so far that I’ve stayed up until 3am to read this. In hindsight I should’ve started in the morning so that I could’ve read through the day without making myself sleep deprived. The characters are all so fascinating but I am still getting used to this world :)

... I’m still trying to figure out who the Candy Thief is. Anyone have any ideas?

I really hope in this book we get more of Kate and Curran. I love the two of them, and I hope we don’t have to wait until we’re a third in before we get the two of them interacting like we did last time 😬

(Continued)... Yes Curran’s mentioned, but just like last book it’s taking forever for him to show up. Kate and Curran’s dynamic is soo interesting I was hoping for more of that in this book from the beginning :( Nevertheless, the plot is very interesting so I do hope I enjoy it more as I read on :)

So far it’s been okay, but a little confusing. I know I have only just started so I’m not worried. I’ve seen too many great reviews about this book and this series. :)

So far a really really boring book. But now that I’ve started I just want to finish it

So when I first read this it had just come out and I was soo excited I just devoured it in a matter of hours. Now that wolf rajn has been released I’m even more excited. After having read the entire pay changing series again, I decided to quickly read this book again too :)

(continued 3)... when that detective told Sam to get off her high horse, I understood. She comes as too forceful, and it didn’t work (Unlike Eve Dallas- In Death series). Sam seems to break the rules because she know her ‘Uncle Joe’ will cover for her, and It feels like she thinks she’s “above” the law. Especially after what her father did with the Fitzgerald case where he let a murderer go free😭😭

... (continued 2) ... And I find it so out of character that Nick would want Sam to just be on vacation when her niece was RAPED and is linked to a homicide. He has been prorated as a level headed man who understands the importance of family, so this doesn’t make sense. And I don’t like that Sam is saying that she is doing it for Tracy. Right now, I’m literally at the edge of my seat dying of anticipation. I love that it’s just one thing after another that is complicating things further. So good. Having said that, I absolutely hate the way Brooke is being portrayed. She was raped! For gods sake, even her mother Tracy says she’s not surprised. That’s just barbaric to me right now... So before the new year, I marked this book down as “currently reading”, and then I finally was able to get my hands on the fatal series and I started reading that instead. So this took step back, as I read the first few books in the fatal series. But I finally starting reading this book today, and so far it’s okay! But Tessa does tend to annoy me a bit :/

I aimed to read 50 books this year. I’m actually so proud of myself for having surpassed that goal, and having read 147 books. It was a good year of reading :)

It’s 3:04am.. and I’ve literally read this story all night. It’s really engaging. But in knackered, so will finish this in the morning once I get some sleep :)

Yes, things are happening very quickly, but that’s just the nature of a short novella. And I’m loving Lynne’s character. Can’t wait to read the next book which is a full novel, and centres around Lynne 😁

Oooo strider and Kaia. I’ve said it before but it’s like a “rule” of mind, to not read books where the main female/male have had sex with other characters, and it’s described or talked about. So the fact that both Stider and Kaia have, has really put me off BIG time.... (continued)

So, from what we already know, Haidee is a type A Bitch as she is responsible for Baden’s death. But, I know that Gena has some major twist, which will make us reevaluate everything we know, and potentially, possibly (hopefully) make us change our minds about Haidee. Here goes :)
