I feel like it’s possibly a me problem, but I’m kind of over flashbacks. Maybe I’ve read too many books with them recently. But I’m reading this book because I’m interested in the concept, not the continuous breaks for character backstory. I get it, character building and all. But I don’t think it’s necessary.

This is one of the most stressful books I’ve ever read and I relate to it too which isn’t helping 😙

I’m so bored and have so many thoughts

I’m already screaming in my car 🙃 omg

Cue John Williams 🎶

This character birthed a goose and it’s not even the weirdest thing that’s happened lmao I absolutely love K-Ming Chang. Who else has writing that is out of this world weird and also gorgeous at the same time

I’m slightly scared of deer now 🙃 🦌

I wish my library had the ebook 😭 The prose is beautiful. So many great quotes I want to highlight

Now this is my kind of weird lmao

Dark Studio Ghibli vibes ✨🖤

When the book is so good you take lunch early to get back to reading it sooner. Can someone come fill in for me while I go home and binge this whole thing?

Over half way through 😮‍💨

Damn Harry relax bro stop attacking my precious Ron

Definitely cozy

I am 6 pages in and have had to bust out the dictionary 4 times already 😭

Iris should have grown out of this by now — being attracted to unhappy, handsome men.

I’m in this book and I don’t like it
