this book is DENSE. it's been a while since i truly challenged myself both in terms of prose and writing style and the intelectual content that i consume. this is a fun book and a genuinely good one

i fear the hype is fully warranted. its stupid, its fun, theres a talking cat, the AI has a foot fetish, its just stupid. i love it

This is going to be a LONG review once I finish this book.

these charactres don't read as "people", i think that's the problem. they way the both act and talk is completely unnatural. theres also constance comparisns between the women that scream "written by a man" even though it wasnt. theres always comparisons like "I noted the relative flatness of everyones stomach and found that while Sarah ahd the most toned abs i was a sure ocntender for the shapliest hips." like ???

i hate to pass early judgement but if i'm being deathly honest i smell a dnf coming up. the sentence structure is clunky, the mc seems more pick-me robot than an actual person, and the whole story reads as a hastily done writing promt than a full on story. hope it gets better, i loved the idea
