Beautifully illustrated book that really makes you sit back and think as you begin to connect the context with what is happening in society currently. Thoroughly enjoying my read so far.

"Truth dies in 4 modes:
1. Open hostility to verifiable reality, which takes the form of presenting inventions and lies as if they were facts.
2. Shamanistic incantation
3. The open embrace of contradiction
4. Misplaced faith"

Been skimming majority of content since pg 162 because I refuse to dnf 😭😭 I am not enjoying but I will make it to the finish line

I'm craving heavy plot driven books (pls give recs). I miss being able to connect on an emotional level with the characters I read about. & I miss books that kept me in their grip until the very last page.

okay i take it back all previous hate i had towards marco. he is growing on me in an infection festering sort of way.

deadass marco.. really

cas.. not like this man pls 😭😭😭

i’d be gutted if they’re still in a simulation

😢😢😭

This was hard to read.. or maybe I’m too much of an empath.

so happy it’s finally here… gonna attempt to pace myself because i went through the first book too quick for my liking.

Something feels missing from this book and I'm so close to finishing that I worry it will forever be that way. 😭

i wasn’t really planning on crying by the third chapter but here we are

To think there was a point in time where I liked Melanie & felt bad for her…

After everything he’s been through… to see the progress. 🥹 My heart. I can’t take it 🥲

wishing nothing but the worse on all of his opps. wes must be protected 😭
