Guys, I’m screaming. Actually screaming. I expected more romcom, less political intrigue, but AH! Love that this has a plot aside from the romance! A plot which currently has me screaming. I can't believe how easy it probably would have been if they'd just gone to the other set of islands at the beginning. Finished this yesterday but I don't want to write my actual review yet. Gotta go back and grab quotes for that. But this was really good! Very informative, very insightful, and very moving.

I so badly want this to be good! I'm a little nervous because it's a YA romance. BUT! That doesn't mean it has to be cringy. And even if it is a little bit... I'm probably going to love it anyway because who am I to resist a queer Arthurian romance??

I'm excited to start this one! I've been meaning to for a while. Listening to the audiobook, as per Riley's suggestion.

I feel like this book is definitely going to make me pretty emotional. Green is clearly deeply passionate about the topic (for good reason) and his writing is very good so far. He's doing an excellent job of weaving the historical, scientific context around the story of Henry and his mom.

Jane Austen excels at writing annoying characters. I do mean that as a compliment. All of her characters who are supposed to be annoying are, in fact, deeply so!

The story of creating New Girl and the bts insights and funny moments are all great, but I can't with the narrator. She reads it like this is a tween romance. : I

Glassman can't resist saying "beloved moments like Nick doing this, Winston doing that, or everyone's favorite...; this one specific random line with no context!" every other paragraph. Please stop listing so many examples, it's not adding to it anymore!

I got Memories of Hecate County by Edmund Wilson, something I can't remember off the top of my head, and The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store, which has been on my tbr for a while, but I haven't been able to find it online or at the library.

Pay no attention to the books I'm marking as want to read right now; I'm trying to find a cheesy, potentially cringy fall romance. Look away! (Or give me recommendations, I don't care if it's bad)

Found this as an audiobook on Spotify at random, so guess I'm listening to this now! Frankly, I am not a huge fan of the narrator so far, she just doesn't sound very much like a real person. Also, not the biggest fan of the writing at the moment, but it is an interesting story.

Let's see if I can actually finish it on this go! So far, I'm enjoying it still. Just met Frank Churchill, Mr. Elton is apparently engaged, and Harriet ran into the Martins (awkwarrrrd...) I'm still rooting for him though!

Still very interesting. I'm pretty sure it's the author who narrates the audiobook, but regardless, his voice suits the book very well and I really like his touch of dramatic flair.
