Quite enjoyed it. Couldn’t get over the use of Americanisms though. No one on Britain has ever ‘gotten’ anything.

I enjoyed this book although I’m not sure exactly what the author was trying to say. There are lots of plot threads about the impossible beauty standards imposed on women. How men manipulate and control women but some women do exactly the same back. And food - lots of food. Towards the end, the author describes a cooked turkey, but - from the description - I’m not sure she’s ever eaten one.
