Finding it hard to put my thoughts into words, but man that chapter on grief and love and pets was really hard to read. Did a lot of processing through my own natural instinct of crying haha. Flow my tears, they do

And — what I faced in the old days, faced and then later on repressed from my memory. Because it was too distressing to believe... once I had a choice, and could choose not to believe.”

I love pkd’s style so much. His language is so simplistic, yet every line feels like out of a song. Already enjoying this more than androids, which i read in january. Big fan of the way the characters interact with each other. Cheerful charley how i love you

If i finish the book before my flight even boards….

I know i said last time that the mc is laughably unlikable, but i forgot to mention how painfully relatable she is nonetheless. Her disdain with the world as she grieves is something that resonates with me heavy. This book has been so thought provoking, making me confront my own comfort found within depression.

I’m a sucker for a book with an unreliable narrator, but man is this MC laughably unlikeable. Hilarious commentary from her so far, almost like a guideline of how Not to act as a mentally ill person. Excited to see how much worse this situation can get before it hits a head

Shelving fight club for now because I realized I don’t enjoy reading books from the same author with unrelated plots back to back, and I remember too much of the movie to enjoy the book properly right now LMAO.

Not sure how i’m gonna track the progress on this one, considering the nonlinear structure, which is very exciting for me. Will probably just update when i’ve finished unless it compels me to update sooner (which it may, already loving the structuring)
