Sagan’s writing style of over description is at times amazingly immerse, but at others, long and rambly. The book and storyline is quite fun and I love the science elements of it but when the author goes into some backstory about a character or event that seems to go on forever it’s a bit of a slog. I do like the aspects of differing opinions of the message in terms of religion and what we as humans should do

Absolutely awesome so far. Each part feels like an entire book itself and the differences between them is so refreshing and keeps the story interesting. That seems difficult as it is easy for this point of them building up their new kingdom or urithiru and recruiting different nation leaders against odium to drag. These side arcs especially the current one of the crew in kholinar are super cool and fun
