I don't understand Violet. At first, she longs to be part of the Scribe Quadrant and now, she hates Dain for even suggesting to be a part of it. I know her mother wants her to be in the Rider Quadrant but I am not convinced that pride is the tye only thing that keeps her from jumping quadrants.

This read is very long but enjoyable. I am not hooked though and I really wanted to read another book but this isn't really bad to drop it. It's just that, I need to read another one as a breather for this one.

I find Lowen hard to like. The way she thinks is the way mistresses are born. I can relate though, the curiosity. But I don't think I would ever entertain the idea of jumping the gun.

Colleen has a way with words though. She can express her thoughts impeccably.

This book is the source for that Chinese MM Series that was banned in China due to their homophobia. I have watched the series and it was SO DAMN GOOOOODDD!!!! I can't believe such series will be banned just because of censorship. OMG.

Will just comfort myself reading the novel itself.

My interest in this book is waning. I definitely like the 1st book better.
