I wish I had read this before Rouge. The setting is more interesting but the similarities in the story formatting between the two is really hard to overlook. It just feels like I’m reading the same book with the morals interchanged. Instead of vanity and internal racism of a biracial individual the point is swapped for losing your individuality in group settings.
