These chapters are so much smaller than the previous book I was reading :o

Didn't like it because it was set in 2021. I liked the flashbacks to the earlier years. I liked the writing style. I just really hated how gross it was, too vulgar for me.

1 chapter, 20 pages left!

I skipped ahead to the epilogue. So I have less to read actually.

Almost 100 pages left, yay :)

Last chapter was more interesting than the other ones even though it was long.

I wish the chapters were of equal length. It's tough having to read through long chapters and not having much of a natural break. I liked that chapter 8 was short. Chapter 9 looks longer. Reading a book I don't want to read is building character. Doesn't mean I'm not allowed to complain.

I like the lists. Pretty good storytelling. I still don't like the content though.

I like how it switches between the two main characters each chapter or so.

If weren't part of a book club, I would have stopped reading this. I'm annoyed that it seems they mention COVID masks on almost every page. She likes to romanticize how they're interacting with them, for example how the characters are blushing, and you can see it in their eyes.

I'm reading this for a book club. I like the way Karin writes thoughts in italics. I like the way she uses spacing in general to convey the characters' thought process. At first I didn't like the jagged pages, but after a while, it didn't bother me. It's a very intense book, the first chapter was a bit graphic for me. It's interesting to me how she likes to list things to progress the scene a little faster.
