Oh, Cup! Girl. How did you get through all this?!!My goodness!

Loving it so far! Truly a perfect historical fiction read for Black History Month! Being a NY’er whose family is from Harlem, I’m loving it even more! I catch myself googling and learning about all the famous black icons listed in the book. So many things I didn’t know! The book is a good pace, and I’m super intrigued. Really invested in the characters.. love (and hate) some already!! Very well written!

I’m already know I am going to rate this 5 stars and I’m only half way through! It’s phenomenal. Ready to quit my job so I can stay home and finish it already 😅 it’s sick and twisted, but so well written - how can you not want to keep going and see what happens?!

After chapter 1 I was already hooked. Hayley creates a clear picture of the scenery, the people, the emotions! The complications of “time” are intriguingly confusing in the beginning but it makes you want keep reading to understand it more. Which you do! So mad I have a full time job and can’t read it all day to finish it already LOL!
