My kiddo picked this one out and we are reading it aloud together. It is already proving to be a bright and sparkly gem.

D.N.F. I had high hopes, but just can't stand the pretentious writing style that flows in a hundred different directions.

I'm going to give it a few more pages because I really want to like it, but so far the writing feels all over the place and pretentious.
