Never gotten through a book so quickly, definitely pulled me out of a reading slump!

Ive read 894 pages (literally every page) in the last two weeks but cant even log them cause they’re from my emt text book. Me when reading for med keeps me away from reading for my enjoyment 😔.

Motifs that stuck out:

The use of the word “Creature” - as the chapters progressed the usage of the word “creature” increased (which could show the physical shadowing presence of Frankenstein’s creature and/or the psychological presence). One could also say use of the word creature to describe people can show how it is not much different that people, it’s been nurtured with violence.

I can’t say I’m not loving all the allusions

I’ll write a paper on this novel, I adore annotating it, as it allows me to take in the novel, but that also means I get through the material so much slower.

I know I read slow, but I like sitting with a book especially when I feel so caught up with everything going 200mph around me.
