I’m rereading this book for discussion with Lindsey’s Little Library on the 29th.

7/2022: I finished this book for the first time. It was a great story. I enjoy Ali Brady’s writing style.

This was still just meh. The characters are likable, but not lovable… except for one or two of the murderous child witches. There lies some comic relief. The young witches talk about murder. They don’t do it.

The main character has been hurt in the past…several times.

2022 first read ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have no memories of the first read.

This is a tough read. The story is well written and I actually imagined I was breathing a tropical sea breeze. I will be taking this book slowly. I need to pick up a good comedy to balance the sorrow this is making me feel.

I loved the first two stories. This urbane fantasy series contains humans and shifters living in the same town.

Great story.

The first couple of chapters were slow going. But the characters, and the plot grabbed me. This. Is. Good.

No! This book is going too fast and it is SO GOOD!

The twins are 6 years old! What fun.
