I told myself every 4 or 5 books I read that one is a “self help” in some sort of way.

Although I’m confident in my social skills, I know there is room for improvement which excites me. I want to use new skills in my life to see if I can deepen connections without being weird, and create a type of closeness I’ve never had before with my next partner.

Yay for improvement…. And being vulnerable 🫣

This is so good! These situations Holden keeps putting himself in are ridiculous though. He is not as smart as he seems to think he is, but I’m assuming it’s the rich boy mentality (now that I know his family is loaded lmao). He’s such an interesting guy I’m excited to finish this! Is he ever going to make it home though? Lol

I love this book so far! The character development is really well done, I love how much I know about all of them - despite how annoying and gross they are. This is an easy, quick read. Im looking forward to this 😀

I’m annoyed with myself that I’ve been reading so slow since 2026 started. Once I get through this book I will probably get back on my reading grind.

I love this book so much so far, but the fact that it’s about kids is making it much harder to read, I want to hug them!

Geraldine is extremely odd and I hope Rock kills her by the end 😂

Considering I haven’t read any older literature besides what was required of me in school, now that I am reading with intent I am finding some of the Victorian standard English unfamiliar and hard to get through.

Besides that, which honestly is a small issue, I love this book. But poor Tess, I feel so bad for her. I’m excited to see what happens with her parents, who I really don’t like.

Love this so far!

Took a small reading hiatus. Back and better than ever though don’t worry. First reading sesh back and I’m feeling good… and also hating Nina so far…, because why is her kid pretending to be allergic to nuts?

Aside from how disgusting parts of this book are, I am enjoying the storyline about Stephen and his life. Reading small parts at a time to save my stomach…

Disturbed? Definitely. Interested? Absolutely.

This is a gross book, obviously… but it’s very interesting being inside the head of someone like Stephen. It’s sad people live these realities and exist wondering about life on the other side, like he sees on TV and all around him. So far, so “good”, I guess I can say?

I can’t wait to find out if there is something wrong with Jeremy or not… he seems a bit too perfect. But, I will say he does say odd things like how his daughter would be a good mother one day, maybe it’s just me who finds that weird.

Honestly I am not a fan of any of the characters, they are all annoying quite honestly. It’s pretty bad that my favourite this far is the cat. Also, why is Trey weird and wanting to be with his dead brothers (would I say ex?) girlfriend? And why is Owen acting like Auburn is a great mother? I have so many questions…
