Lots of truisms. I liked Eleanor's job description: "I work in an office", having learned it stopped people enquiring further. An emotionally immersive book whilst the main character pushes people away. Nice mystery created about her past, readers can seek truth in scant clues given at long intervals. And, talk therapy instead of pills, yes!
