Lee Harrell is on page 158 of 400 of We Need to Talk About Kevin
Massively slow read that I have to be able to lock in and focus on because she put the whole thesaurus in here but it’s so GOOD.

This book is so vague. Not in a “I’m annoyed that they’re not explaining things” way because that’s fine it’s the prose. Everything js so…empty. Metaphors/similes that evoke 0 emotion or imagery, sometimes bordering on nonsensical but also dull. It just fails to evoke any emotion or set a tone at all.

The way this book could have been good if it didn’t completely shift halfway through to be a romantasy instead of an adventure

Someone should probably let the author know that refusing to use quotation marks to detonate when someone is speaking isn’t making this book seem more deep and complex, but just makes it clunky and reads like she can’t write. Quotation marks are not for the unenlightened babe they’re for clarity and to make your sentences not look so wack

This book is so fun but if she has some twist where zana is some evil mastermind I’m going to raze the earth I want to believe ware is a better writer than that though

Insufferably bad, borderline unreadable, the reason I finally got a new library card because I was so sick of spending actual money on books this painful to read
