Well, apparently I’m late to the party. I thought that this was going to be a genuine story about a male-female platonic friendship with the allusion to a slip in judgment in the past that they’re trying to get over. Joke’s on me! I couldn’t even get through the whole book. Poppy’s endless self pity and going on and on about Alex’s body were trite and boring.
