I am in the most aggressive reading slump of my life. The last Cresent City book was just disappointing enough (to me) that it completely wrecked my reading confidence. Now every time I look at a new book I’m like: “What if this is somehow worse?” But on the other hand, finding a book good enough to recover from this 2 month slump feels statistically impossible.

Bryce needs to chill the fuck out and cut Hunt a break. Like shut up. The man was tortured… because of you. She is pissing me offffff.

I want to like this book but right now I am really struggling and I genuinely don’t know why. It is taking everything in me to read this.

The structure of this book is interesting. Not exactly sure if I like it or not. However the story is good and Zach is FINNEEE

I have been putting off reading this book solely because I disliked both book 2 and 3. And honestly after those two, I feel like that’s a very valid reason to simply pretend this book didn’t exist.
But here we are. I’m opening it anyway. Let’s see if this continues the disappointment I have in this series or if by some miracle I’m about to be pleasantly surprised.
